We all have Passions, some more profound than others, some extreme, and some mediocre. The point is that we have passions, without passion we have a sense of loss, well I do anyway. Passion has a feeling, it evokes memories, it brings dreams alive. It gives a drive to success, it moves your thoughts, in a nutshell, having passions can change everyone.
I grew up in Africa, and fell in love with a continent and a country of vast open plains, with teems of wildlife to watch, just on your doorstep so to speak. There was never a time you were far from the wildlife and open plains. It was an every weekend part of life. Fishing on the River, watching the hippos and elephant, being mindful of what was behind you. These images will forever be ingrained in my memory,, but it’s hard to share these images with you when they are not in front of you visually.
Always a creative at heart, my passion for the arts and photography grew and eventually ran a company that had the balance of both, working with photographers capturing pictures for brochure work, which I designed and printed for various clients. My passion grew for all forms of print and being able to portray the clients brief to the best was at the forefront. Hands on and not shy of any type of work thrown at me, I became a ‘Guru’ of many fields, but always specialising in Graphic Design and Imagery portrayal.
When I made the decision to move to the UK, getting into this field of work was tough, and I may have lost my way for a bit, but I am now back on track loving myself more for being the person I have always been, the Creative Free spirit, Passionate about the Arts and Photography. I’ve worked hard to perfect my skills and will continue to do so so that the passion I see before me will show through so that you too can capture and feel that Passion.
Be true to You and Do what you Love and Love what you do, this will keep you alive when times get tough and carry you through to the finish line.
PASSION a word of awesomeness!
A good photograph is one that communicates a fact, touches the heart and leaves the viewer a changed person for having seen it. It is, in a word, effective”. – Irving Penn
